Solid Fuel Boilers

Most New Zealander’s who want central heating in their homes want automation, but with the rise in fossil fuel prices, the option of wood fired boilers / solid fuel boilers is very attractive. Central Heating New Zealand offers wood or log boilers for those customers wanting cheap, reliable comfort from their central heating system.

Attack Log Boiler

The Attack Log Boiler (top right) is a cast iron log boiler that is robust and simple to use. Situated in a garage or boiler room, these units are perfect for those on rural or lifestyle blocks who have an abundance of free wood. Thermostatically controlled, the boilers regulate themselves to produce a preset water temperature and are extremely effective for a radiator system.

As with all solid fuel appliances, the best results come from connecting the solid fuel boiler to a thermal store cylinder which extends the required stoking times for convenience. These thermal stores act as a battery and also improve the efficiency of the appliance.
