Warm water central heating delivers heat consistently to the whole house. It is highly efficient, environmentally-friendly and easy to control. It is the preferred method of heating across two-thirds of the world.

Many New Zealanders will be familiar with the struggle to stay comfortably warm in their home each winter. Typically, New Zealand homes are heated unevenly and unhealthily. The air temperature in bedrooms often falls below 16°C, while living areas are commonly over-heated – sometimes to as high as 30°C. This is a throwback to the days of a traditional log fire in the living room, producing four times the energy required to heat the room to the World Health Organisation’s recommended standard of 21°C! Today most Kiwis install a gas fire, heat pump or electric underfloor in living areas, with a night store or similar to heat the rest of the home.
