Many types of warm water central heating systems can double as a source of hot water for domestic purposes. In fact all models of diesel, wood pellet and gas-fired boilers marketed by Central Heating New Zealand are capable of heating water for central heating, the domestic supply, AND a spa or swimming pool – all from a single unit! There are options for this also with the recently introduced geothermal and hot water heat pumps although the solutions are not as economical as for the boilers.

This versatility is a major selling point of warm water central heating. It offers you or your clients a superbly efficient and cost-effective high performance hot water solution over the long term. This is because the water is being heated by the cheaper energy sources of gas and diesel.
